Ordering tests through QuestDirect is a breeze. Simply select the tests you need online, where independent physicians provide clinical oversight and order the testing. Then, schedule an appointment at one of Quest’s conveniently located patient service centers for specimen collection.
Convenient Access through Retail Partnerships
Through strategic collaborations with retail giants Safeway and Walmart, QuestDirect is expanding its reach, making its services available at over 200 patient service centers within retail store locations by the end of the year.

Broad Availability with Exceptions
QuestDirect’s services are currently available in all states except Arizona, Indiana, Oklahoma, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Please note that QuestDirect cannot bill insurance for tests purchased through its platform, including Medicare and Medicaid. Payment is the patient’s responsibility.
Strategic Acquisitions and Collaborations
Quest Diagnostics has recently completed the acquisition of Oxford Immunotec‘s U.S. laboratory services business, adding the T-SPOT.TB tuberculosis and Accutix tick-borne disease tests to its diagnostics portfolio.
Additionally, Quest and Oxford Immunotec are collaborating on further development of the T-SPOT.TB test in the U.S., while Quest plans to continue offering Qiagen’s QuantiFERON TB services.
