Marta López and her experience in GH DÚO
Marta López has become one of the most prominent participants of GH DÚO, where she competes alongside Efrén. However, her experience on the program has not been what she expected. During the first days of living together, Marta has suffered intense pain that has prevented her from participating in the weekly test.
It was in Sunday’s debate where the ordeal he is going through was revealed. Ion Aramendi announced that Marta had had a health problem, but he preferred that she tell it herself. Marta explained that she has been in the house for ten days and has not had a single day without pain. She thanked the program’s doctors for their care, who have treated her excellently.
Marta’s health problem originated from a cosmetic treatment she underwent shortly before entering the house. Marta reported that she put a thread on her neck that became infected, which has caused a constant lump. The pain she has experienced has been worse than that of childbirth, even with medication they have not disappeared. As she explained, the pain persists until the pressure exerted by the thread is released.
The precaution of the medical team
As a precautionary measure, the program’s medical team has decided that Marta will not participate in the weekly test with the other contestants. Although Marta regrets not being able to participate, she recognizes that she has gone through difficult times and trusts the doctors’ advice.
Marta López’s aesthetic treatment
Before joining GH DÚO, Marta underwent thread tightening treatment at a renowned aesthetic clinic in Madrid. Although a video posted on her social media assured that the treatment should not cause pain, Marta has experienced complications. The clinic warns on its website about possible infections, swelling and fever, symptoms that Marta has experienced.
The clinic also provides advice to patients to avoid problems, such as sleeping on your back and with your head elevated, gently treating the face and neck in daily cleansing, using sunscreen, and avoiding sun exposure for two weeks. In case of mild discomfort, it is recommended to take anti-inflammatories.
