It is important to note that peanut butter must contain a minimum of 90% peanuts, without artificial sweeteners, colors or preservatives, to be considered a healthy option.

A study carried out by the University of Barcelona has revealed some of the benefits associated with the consumption of peanuts and peanut butter.

It has been shown that regular consumption of peanuts and peanut butter can reduce stress and improve cognitive function. The polyphenols present in peanuts help improve memory, executive function, and processing speed.

In addition, peanut cultivation is sustainable, making it an environmentally friendly option.

ARISTOTLE Studio

The ARISTOTLE study, carried out by the University of Barcelona, ​​was a randomized controlled trial that was carried out over six months.

In the study, participants were randomly assigned to one of three groups: the group that consumed roasted peanuts with skin on, the group that consumed peanut butter, and the control group that consumed a control butter.

The results of the study showed that regular consumption of peanuts and peanut butter improved the cognitive response and mood of the participants.

Although these results are promising, more studies are needed to confirm these findings and further explore the health benefits of peanut butter.
