The challenge of quitting smoking
Tobacco consumption is a harmful habit that affects both personal health and coexistence. Tobacco smoke also negatively impacts the people around the smoker, turning them into passive smokers.
The harmful effects of tobacco are widely known, including cardiovascular problems, cancer and respiratory conditions.
The vast majority of smokers are aware of these risks and want to quit the habit, but they are limited by the strong addiction to nicotine present in cigarettes.
The role of plants in quitting tobacco
Plants, although they are not a miracle solution, can be of great help in combating addictions such as smoking. In addition to the will of the individual, the support and guidance of health professionals are essential in this process.
Infusion to quit smoking
A natural formula from herbalists can significantly contribute to relieving tobacco withdrawal symptoms, acting on three levels.
This infusion, contrasting with the flavor of tobacco, motivates us to make conscious decisions. In addition, it acts as an expectorant agent, cleansing the lungs, and as a detoxifier, promoting the elimination of toxins through urine, which facilitates decongestion and improves breathing.
Ingredients and preparation
The infusion is composed of fumaria, mullein, elderberry, dandelion, licorice and mint, in specific quantities.
To prepare it, mix the herbs well and then add a heaped tablespoon per glass of water. Subsequently, boil the mixture for 2-3 minutes in a saucepan and let it rest, covered, for approximately 10 minutes. Optionally, thyme honey can be added to improve the flavor.
It is recommended to consume up to 3 glasses a day, in treatments lasting a maximum of 15 days.
